Few years ago college sport was something almost every young man wanted to do in college, because it was entertaining, little bit competitive and men had a lot of fun doing it.
Now the situation is quite different. We are not saying that kids don’t love it anymore we only think that today it is more about the money than the game.
Players want money, let’s face it schools want it too, and the only way to do it is to get rid of that fake image they try to present to people and simply split the money.
Everybody knows that you can get a lot of money from college sports, especially if it is something popular that can entertain people.
Then you can expect cash coming from TV, sponsorship's, ticket sales and other sides. Almost everyone can benefit from that, that’s why college sports are so popular among young people.
But most of those young people forget one thing, the stars of the show, as known as student-athletes are not getting anything.
Yes, it does sound unbelievable and brutal, but majority of those kids don’t get anything, not even a buck.
Of course coaches will get a lot of money, especially if they train someone who is talented and has a perspective.
That’s why college sport lost its original purpose, because players want to earn some money from it, and unfortunately coaches and colleges are telling them that it is not possible, so the question is – how to maintain that balance and make everyone happy?
